Fred Morelli obtained his undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Notre Dame. In his distinguished career Fred has been a prosecutor in the Cook County State's Attorneys Office, a public defender in Kane County, and an associate judge in Kane County (1976-1981). In private practice Fred has tried over 200 jury trials and over a 1000 bench trials. He has practiced in the federal court system throughout the country, from California to New York and Texas to Wisconsin, is a member of the federal trial bar and is admitted to practice in the U.S. Tax Court. He has also argued many cases in the federal appellate courts and throughout the Illinois appellate system, including seven cases before the Illinois Supreme Court. He has represented clients in numerous civil cases in state and federal court and before the Illinois Liquor Control Commission, the Illinois Department of Registration and Regulation, and multiple Police and Fire Boards. Fred prides himself that in his law firm the client always comes first.
Nischal Raval has practiced with Fred Morelli for over fifteen years. He is a graduate of the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and the Northern Illinois University College of Law. In addition to working with Fred on the high volume of criminal cases the firm handles, Nischal also represents clients in various civil matters, including contract disputes, administrative hearings, immigration, real estate, and litigation in state and federal court. He has also handled numerous civil and criminal appeals before the U.S. 7th Circuit and in the Illinois Appellate Courts.
